At Freja, we are all about natural foods.  Coconut sugar undergoes minimal processing and has a very pleasant taste!Coconut sugar is the nectar inside the coconut blossoms.  It has a lower glycemic index thanks to its prebiotic fibre content and it also contains minerals and antioxidants in small quantities. Other sweeteners, including stevia and sugar alcohols, are highly processed with chemicals and often have a bitter aftertaste, as well as causing digestive problems. 

A natural flavouring is an ingredient that is extracted, distilled, or similarly derived from natural sources like plants, with its primary function in food being flavouring.  Our natural flavours are distilled vapours from natural and organic compounds and fruits (such as vanilla and strawberry).  They are made without any chemicals, fillers, binders, or artificial ingredients. We are very careful with our sourcing of these ingredients. 

Yes absolutely.  We recommend that bone broth be part of your everyday routine! While bone broth offers multiple health benefits, excessive consumption has risks of high sodium and excessive calorie intake. 

In the UK weight loss meal replacements are defined and regulated as providing between 200 and 400kcal per serving (no more than 1,200kcal per day) for the purpose of weight loss and cannot be used for 100% of the diet for more than three weeks without medical advice.  We recommend you contact a nutritionist or doctor for specific advice around diet.
