It’s simply delicious and mega nutritious! Bone Broth is a foundational health food: it’s a low calorie gut health essential, an immune system booster and a great source of protein, collagen and amino acids - a nutritional powerhouse to make you feel great. It is a great support for many diets including Keto (low carb), Paleo, Intermittent Fasting, 5:2, and Whole 30.
Drinking bone broth is the most common way to enjoy this nutritious beverage, but there are plenty of other options to help get in your daily dose. We believe it is best enjoyed simply warmed and sipped from a mug, but it can be used as a hero ingredient to enhance any dish. You can add it to soup, or mix it into risottos and stews. It can be taken between meals to fill a hunger gap or instead of tea and coffee as a caffeine free alternative. You can even add it to smoothies for a natural protein packed boost.
Freja bone broth contains onions, which some people say dogs should avoid. However, we have many customers who regularly feed their dogs Freja bone broth with no issues and who have told us that it is amazing!
We certainly give it to our children to help boost their nutritional intake, and they love it! Although our bone broth is 100% natural please bear in mind the salt content if you're giving it to little ones.
Yes! Freja broth has a shelf life of up to 24 months but once opened should be kept in the fridge and consumed within 4 days or you could also freeze it for up to 6 months.
Ingredients
We use filtered water from Norway to make our bone broth.
Unfortunately Freja broth is not halal or kosher.
Delivery & returns
We offer shipping throughout the UK Mainland and Northern Ireland, Scottish Islands and Highlands, Channels Islands and the Isle of Man.
If you want to return your items, please email hello@frejafoods.com to make arrangements and to be given a return authorisation code. To be eligible for a refund, all products must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. All individual packs must remain unopened, uneaten and ready to eat. Individual packs cannot be returned on their own, but please let us know if you had any problems with your order and we will do our best to make it up to you. You are responsible for the cost of the return (unless there is a problem with the item – see clause 10 of our Terms of Sale Policy if this is the case). Following the return of items in good condition, we will refund all returned items up to 28 days from the date of delivery. We will not accept any returns without prior authorisation.
Subscription
You can get single flavour subscriptions of our broths in packs of 6, 12, and 24 cartons.
