Ingredients: 

  • 350g grated courgette
  • 125g halloumi
  • 3 tbsp cornflour
  • 2 tbsp self raising flour
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp onion granules
  • 3 tbsp Freja Bone Broth Protein Powder (Chicken)
  • 1 egg
  • Honey to serve

 

Method: 

  1. Grate the courgette, sprinkle over a generous pinch of salt and stir to combine well.
  2. Leave this to sit for about 5 minutes then use your hands/a muslin cloth to squeeze out and discard any excess moisture.
  3. Once you’ve squeezed out as much moisture as possible combine the courgette with the remaining ingredients.
  4. Fry the fritter in olive oil on a medium-high heat for about 2 mins on each side or until golden and crispy.
  5. Serve with a drizzle of honey!
