Ingredients
- 400g diced steak
- 400g sliced mushrooms
- 100ml single cream
- 500ml Freja Classic Beef Bone Broth
- 150-225g rice (75g per person)
Method
- Fry off the steak in neutral oil at a high heat for approx 2-3 minutes, stirring continuously to get colour on every side.
- Remove the steak from the pan then add in the sliced mushrooms and season well with salt and pepper, adding in more oil if needed.
- Allow the mushrooms to cook for 5-6 minutes at a high heat, stirring occasionally until they begin to brown.
- Cook the rice to packet instructions.
- Pour in the Freja classic beef bone broth and leave to boil on a high heat with the until it has reduced by ⅔.
- Once the stock has reduced, place the steak back into the pan along with the single cream.
- Stir well to combine then serve over the cooked rice.
